Heather Carpenter

Heather Love Carpenter, 40, of Ewing, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington after a short illness.
She was born on December 24, 1975 to Robin and Timmy Mitchell of Carlisle.
Heather made her home with her grandparents, Robert and Opal Carpenter on Mt. Tabor Road in Ewing. She enjoyed coloring in her coloring books, setting on the porch watching the traffic and loved when dinners were held for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Carpenter and one brother, Timbo Mitchell.
In addition to her grandmother and her parents, she is survived by her brothers and sisters, Beverly (Miller) Smith, Timmy (Amy) Carpenter, Avery Carpenter, Stevie (Becky) Carpenter and Robbie (Melinda) Carpenter all of Ewing, Libby (James) Lane of Tennessee, Kim (Randy) Baker of Ohio and Rocky (Brandi) Mitchell, Justin Mitchell, Harley (Breann) Mitchell all of Carlisle. Niece, Kirsten, nephew, Evan, very special cousin, Spring Carpenter of Millersburg and several cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church in Ewing.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church.
