William Thomas "Tommy" Donovan, 71, of Ewing, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at his home in Ewing after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky on August 11, 1949 to the late W. D. and Evelyn Montgomery Donovan.
Tommy was the mail truck driver for over 37 years and attended the Ewing Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, sign painting, fishing and participating in Revolutionary War Reenactments and also portraying the "Mountain Man".
Survivors include his wife Laura Saylor Donovan, one son Montgomery Cliff Donovan and his wife Lilli of Carlisle. HIs step children; Jacob Saylor and his wife Amanda of Amelia, Ohio, Curtis Godsey of Flemingsburg, Kentucky James Godsey and his wife Angel of of Mt. Olivet, Kentucky and Maggie Godsey and her husband Mark of Pensacola, Florida. Two sisters; Linda Christy of Flemingsburg and Dana Watson of Winchester, Kentucky. 16 Grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 5, 2020 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home is after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
Pall bearers will be Montgomery Donovan, David Donovan, Steve Donovan, Leam Baldridge, Curtis Godsey and James Godsey.
