William Alvin "Billy" Hunt

William Alvin "Billy" Hunt, 91, of Ewing, Kentucky passed away Wednesday October 18, 2023 at his residence. 

He was born March 10, 1932 in Bourbon County, Kentucky to the late Kirby Hunt and Ethel Lyons Hunt. 

Billy enjoyed the outdoors, restoring model A Fords, and tinkering with things. He was also a member of the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church and attended other churches in the area.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William Ray Hunt; four brothers, James Hunt and Kirby Hunt, Jr., and two infant brothers; and two sisters, Alma Fight and Gladys Bryant.

Survivors include his wife Evelyn McGinnis Hunt whom he married February 10, 1952; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; special friends, Cheryl Hunt and Boone Dye both of Ewing, and Georgia Gilvin and Pam Sale both of Carlisle Kentucky; and his special fur baby Dozer.

Services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 21, 2023 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home with Brother Greg Grimes officiating. 

Billy will be laid to rest with his son in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation is after 12:00 noon Saturday until the hour of service.

Nephews will serve as pall bearers.
