Wilbur "Billy" Money

Wilbur "Billy" Grover Money departed this life on Thursday July 28, 2022, in Flemingsburg, Kentucky at the age of 64.

He was born on November 6, 1957 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Howard Money and Jane Frederick Osborn.

Grover was a devoted public servant who spent forty-five years of his life serving the community of Ewing and his beloved "West End". He was a volunteer firefighter for the Ewing Volunteer Fire Department and dedicated the last sixteen years to the department and it's members as the assistant fire chief. Grover recently retired from Fleming- Mason Energy. He was a member of the Buffalo Trace and Daniel Boone Firefighter Association. He was also a member of the Ewing Christian Church, but recently attended the Elizaville Christian Church.

Survivors include one son: Samuel "Sam" Money and wife Alison of Independence, Kentucky. Three brothers; Terry Money (Charlotte Price) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Ray Money (A.J. Egnew) of Ewing and Bobby Money of Flemingsburg. One grandson Elijah Money, who was the light of his life.  Special Friend, Jana Gantley and her children, Ben Moran (Lindsey) and Ashely Moran, along with her grandchildren; Layne Moran, Darcy Moran, and Braden Hord. Also, his Ewing Volunteer Fire Department family and his Fleming-Mason Energy family.

Services will be conducted 1:00 P.M Saturday August 6, 2022, at the Ewing Volunteer Fire Department in Ewing with Pastor Larry Ingram, Pastor Aaron Arrasmith, and Chaplain Mark Smith officiating.

Visitation at the Ewing Volunteer Fire Department will be Friday. August 5, 2022.   Immediate family will be from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Public visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
