Mr. Raymond Tilton (“Frog”) Fryman, 78, of Pike Bluff Road, Ewing, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Baptist Health in Lexington.
He was born on August 19, 1940 in Nicholas County, Kentucky, a son of the late Harrison and Olive Mitchell Fryman.
Mr. Fryman was a farmer, having raised dairy cattle, beef cattle, tobacco and hay.
He was a proud member of the Kentucky Trap Shooting Hall of Fame and the Amateur Trap Shooting Association.
Frog was a Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed riding his tractor and telling stories.
He also enjoyed camping, fishing and watching Westerns and in his younger days, he enjoyed playing softball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Clifton “Tip” Fryman, Oliver “Buddy” Fryman, Paul Fryman, Billy Fryman and Clay Fryman and one sister, Juanita “Sissy” McCarty.
Survivors include his wife, Cindi Jones Fryman, one son, Ricky Fryman (Stephanie) of Ewing, four daughters, Becky Cannon (Clay) of Flemingsburg, Virginia Storey (Ireland) of Jacksonville, Florida, Vickie Murray (Brad) of Frankfort and Stefanie Davis of Flemingsburg, three brothers, Danny Fryman, Larry “Bugs” Fryman and Scotty “Duck” Fryman (Judy) all of Ewing, one sister, Dorothy Faris (Jerry) of Ewing, six grandchildren, Harrison Fryman, Cullen Davis, Jason Watson (Jackie), Lucas Cannon, Chet Storey (Amanda) and Kaleigh Hillock, five great-grandchildren, Ashton Watson, Garrett Watson, Ella Watson, Cannon Schrader and Holden Sanford and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 28, 2019 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Herbie Stallard officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Harrison Fryman, Jason Watson, Dickie Dillon, Ricky Watson, Mike Hillock and Buddy Messer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Cannon, Chet Storey, Cullen Davis, Ronnie Black, Tyler Black, Dr. Michael Jones, Dr. Michael Boyd and all of his Trap Shooting Buddies.
