Matthew Jones

Matthew Brian Jones, 42 of Ewing, Kentucky passed away Saturday at his home.

He was born July 16, 1977 in Harlan, Kentucky to Danny and Candace Sue Lowe Jones.

Matt was a construction worker, former member of the Army National Guard and a 1995 graduate of Fleming County High School. He enjoyed Nascar, boating and the outdoors.

Survivors include a daughter, Kayla Jones of Vanceburg, Kentucky. His parents, Danny and Candace Sue Lowe Jones of Ewing, three brothers, Casey (Camaran) Jones of Cowan, Kentucky,  Kelly (Jessica) Jones of Ewing and Stewart (Raven) Jones of Fairmont, West Virginia. Two nephews, Brayden Jones and Gavin Jones and one niece, Emma Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.

Serving as pall bearers will  be Casey Jones, Kelly Jones, Stewart Jones, Matt Bodey, Josh Watts and Steve Maddox.
