Jo Ann Fryman

Mrs. Jo Ann Hunt Fryman, 79, of Nepton, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg.

She was born on December 30, 1939 in Fleming County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Joe and Elizabeth Hull Hunt.

Jo Ann was a hard working homemaker and farmer’s wife.  She was a member of the Nepton United Methodist Church and she enjoyed her family, gardening, canning, bird watching and caring for others.  Although she suffered with arthritis for many years limiting her mobility, she remained a faithful telephone friend to many.

Jo Ann was married to the late Cecil Fryman for 47 years.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Hunt and Murrill Hunt.

Survivors include her four children, Teresa (Matt) Plymesser, Randy (Robin Handy) Fryman, Rodney (Robin Davis) Fryman and Amanda Fryman, five grandchildren, Stephany Fryman, Justin (Felicia) Plymesser, Ashley Fryman, Julia Plymesser and Austin (Desiree) Fryman, three great-grandchildren, Elijah Fryman, Damari Alexander and Ezekiel Fryman, one sister, Sue Fryman, two brothers, Steve (Sherri) Hunt and Gale (Janet) Hunt and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Nepton United Methodist Church with Pastor Adam Gulley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Plymesser, Justin Plymesser, Austin Fryman, Billy Glenn Fryman, Anthony Hunt and Greg Faris.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Fryman, Jerry Faris, Steve Hunt, Gale Hunt, Shane Hunt, Caleb Hunt, Kendall Gulley, Dickie Dillon and Danny Dillon.

Contributions are suggested to the Nepton United Methodist Church.
