Jackie Davis

Jackie Wayne Davis, 78 of Ewing passed away Saturday evening at his home after an extended illness. He was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on February 12, 1942 to the late L. O. and Mamie Hamilton Davis.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Owen Davis and Bill Davis. Five sisters; Doris Tibbs, Virginia Dare Johnson, Laura Mae Davis, Betty Davis and Frances Fulton.

Jackie was a retired truckdriver for McLean Trucking and enjoyed fishing, hunting, Nascar, going to flea markets, tinkering and doing mechanic work and going to McDonalds for his gravy and biscuits.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Blevins, two daughters; Jacqueline Osborne and her husband David of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Robin Davis Fryman and her husband Rodney of Ewing. One step-son, Dustin Blevins of Nicholasville, Kentucky. Two brothers, Harold L. Davis of Ewing, Kentucky and Ora Davis of Stanford, Kentucky and one sister Wilma Yazell of Ohio. Five grandchildren; Melinda Osborne, Stephany Fryman, Ashley Fryman, Corey Osborne and Austin Fryman. Nine great-grandchildren; Alexis Simpson, Lauryn Osborne, Kaden Agee, Gavin Osborne, Graham Osborne, Eli Fryman, Ezekiel Fryman, Evalina Fryman and Demari Alexander. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. August 12, 2020 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville. Visitation at the funeral home is after 12 noon Wednesday.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Serving as pall bearers will be Bradley Blevins, Kaden Agee, Corey Osborne, Austin Fryman, Dusty Blevins and Ricky Blevins.
