Grant R. Rickmon, 76 of Ewing, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at his home in Ewing. He was born December 29, 1945, in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Grant U. Rickmon and Edna Rudolph Rickmon.

Grant was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam era. He was awarded the Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Purple Heart and the Good Conduct Medal. He served 13 months in Korea and was Honorably discharged after nearly 11 years of service to his country.

He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church in Tram, Kentucky and was a member of the Wounded Warriors, Military Order of the Purple Heart and the V.F.W. in Ivel, Kentucky. Grant was a car enthusiast and enjoyed taking care of his yard. He was an avid University of Kentucky football and basketball fan. Grant was a retired auto mechanic and owned and operated a repair shop in Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, twins, Timmy Craft and Tammy Ratliff. Also, a Great-grandson, Julius.

Survivors include his wife Diana Blevins Rickmon, Three sons, Billy (Melissa) Craft of San Francisco, California, Wesley Brinson of Rogers, Arkansas and Grant Craft of Lexington, Kentucky. One brother, Ruben (Lauren) Rickman of Farmington Hills, Michigan, 13 Grandchildren and 22 Great-Grandchildren. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, 100 Veterans Memorial Drive, Grayson, Kentucky 41143 with Pastor Elijah Sexton officiating.

Full military honors by the United States Army and the American Legion will be presented at the graveside.

Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday.

Pall bearers will be Grant Craft, Colbert Craft, James Craft. Grant Craft, Jr., Joey Jones and Jessee Adkins.
