Elizabeth "Dolly" McIntyre

Elizabeth Joy "Dolly" McIntyre,84 of Cowan, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, at the Robertson County Health Care in Mt. Olivet, Kentucky after an extended illness. She was born January 3, 1937, in Nicholas County, Kentucky to the late Silas and Mae Mitchell Gray.

Dolly was a homemaker, farmer and enjoyed raising a garden, taking care of her flowers and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Minerva Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Douglas McIntyre, Sr., one son Harold Douglas McIntyre, Jr., one daughter, Karin Lyons, six grandchildren, one sister, Lillian Hunt, three brothers, Roy Gray, Gerald Gray and Eugene Gray.

Survivors include three sons, Danny (Diane) McIntyre of Cowan, Bobby (Rhonda) McIntyre of Versailles, Kentucky, Raymond (Bonnie) McIntyre of Cynthiana, Kentucky. One daughter, Carolyn "Sissie" Poore of Covington, Kentucky. One brother, Paul (Annie) Gray of Maysville, Kentucky. Sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Also, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville, Kentucky with Brother Harry Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is after 5:00 pm Tuesday.

Pall bearers will be Dexter Sims, Jarrod Monroe, J. T. Hammonds, Dennis Cooper, Roy Hickerson and David Shrout. Honorary pall bearers will be the grandchildren.
