Elizabeth Alleta Mitchell Jolly

Elizabeth Alleta Mitchell Jolly, 77, of Carlisle, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Bourbon Heights  in Paris, Kentucky surrounded by her family.

She was born March 25, 1946 in Morehead, Kentucky a daughter of the late Harrison Richard Jolly and Victoria McCarty Jolly.

Elizabeth enjoyed watching tv, playing cards, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Richard Jolly Sr.; four brothers, Floyd Mitchell, Bill Clay Mitchell, Eddie Jolly, and Richard McCarty; one grand  daughter, Jessica Hatfield. 

Survivors include three daughters, Danyale Victoria Ray Durham and husband Matthew of Carlisle, Peggy Marie Hatfield and husband Derick also of Carlisle, and Opel Jeannette Mansfield and husband David of Muses Mill, Kentucky; two sons, Wayne Richard Jolly Jr. of Cowan, Kentucky and Andy Bernnette Jolly of Ewing; one brother, Jay Mitchell and wife Sylvia of Carlisle; one sister, Nellie Ellison and husband Norman of Ewing, Kentucky; twelve grandchildren, Stacy Kuisel, Joshua Hatfield, Justina Burton, Michaela Hatfield, Rebecca Hatfield, Jason McCord, Sarah Mansfield, Andy Jolly II, Devin Jolly, Bo Durham, Dylon Jolly and Juni Durham; eleven great-grandchildren, Terry Kuisel, Ciera Kuisel, Aletta Royse, Felicity Pollitt, Faith McCord, Presley McCord, Dezerea Stacy, Jessie Stacy, Isabella Stacy, Ben Mansfield, and Annabella Mansfield; and her life-long friend, Della James; several nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday August 24, 2023 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home with Brother Greg Grimes officiating. 

Visitation is after 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
