Darren Ray Pollock

Darren Ray Pollock, 58, a resident of the Willow Dell community in Elizaville, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. 

He was born on December 7, 1965, a son of Gayle Graham Pollock and the late Sandra Dell Lambert Pollock.

Darren was a member of the Nepton Community Church and was a graduate of Fleming County High School Class of 1983. He spent most of his life working his custom flooring business. 

He was known to be a BBQ master after winning many trophies for his great tasting BBQ. He was an avid UK Basketball fan, and he enjoyed doing a little front porch sitting with his family and friends. He was known to be a big talker and jokester; he never met a stranger. Most of all Darren enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. 

Darren was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Dell Lambert Pollock.

Survivors include his father, Gayle Graham Pollock of Nepton, Kentucky; his beloved wife whom he loved dearly, Brenda Sue Humphries Pollock; his two children, Brandon Pollock and wife Sallie of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Paige Cannon and husband Blake of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Chopper Pollock and wife Denise and Greg Pollock both of Nepton; one sister, Deanna Doyle of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; two precious grandchildren, Jordyn Simmons and Emma Graves; Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday July 30, 2024 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Brother Adam Gulley officiating.

Darren will be laid to rest in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Casket bearers will be Brandon Pollock, Blake Cannon, Daniel Pollock, Mark Smith, Nathan Johnson, and Zach McKee.

Honorary casket bearers will be Steve Hunt, Chopper Pollock, Russell Hughes, and Sherri Hunt.
