Mrs. Christine Hunt Workman, 79 of Ewing, passed away Monday morning at the Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville. She was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on April 14, 1941 to the late Herman and Leona Deal Hunt.
Christine was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing and camping.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Workman, her son Jerry Workman, one brother, June Hunt, sisters; Anne Hughes, Ruby DeAtley, Nadine Workman, Kay Kelley, Marie Ritchey and an infant sister.
Survivors include one son Robert Workman and his wife Kathy of Ewing, three daughters; Bonnie Burton and her husband Mike of Ewing, Christina Hollar and Melissa VonderBrink and her husband James of Flemingsburg. Three brothers; Ike Hunt and his wife Bert of Maysville, Kenny Hunt and his wife Janie and Frank Hunt all of Flemingsburg. One sister Margie Workman and her husband Donnie of Muses Mills. Three grandchildren; Nick VonderBrink, Alex VonderBrink and Tyler VonderBrink. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 17, 2020 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Pastor Mitchell Farthing officiating.
Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery in Mason County.
Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is after 10:00 A.M. Saturday.
Serving as pall bearers will be Jeff Workman, Randy Workman, Mike Workman, Eddie Jacobs, Larry Workman, Donnie Workman, Ricky Workman and Tim DeAtley. Honorary pall bearers will be her grandsons.
