Charles Glendon Fields, 80 of Mt. Tabor Road, Ewing, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at his home.
He was born February 2, 1944, in Fleming County, Kentucky to the late Earl Ring Fields and Helen Juanita Jolly Fields.
Mr. Fields was a retired motorcycle mechanic and enjoyed fixing up old minibikes for the neighborhood kids. He had also worked on a horse farm and enjoyed working with horses.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Fields and two infant brothers, Ernie Luther Fields and Woodford Earl Fields.
Survivors include his wife Delores Humphries Fields whom he married April 25, 1964. Two daughters, Penny Story and her husband Carl Day Story of Poplar Plains, Kentucky and Sherry Fields of Ewing.
One nephew, Larry Dion Fields of Nicholasville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Ashley Dixon of Flemingsburg, Kentucky and Brandy Carpenter of Ewing. One great-grandson, Jackson Dyer.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 24, 2024, in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Mt. Tabor.
Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is after 12 Noon Tuesday.
Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
