Beverly Smith

Beverly Carpenter Smith, 65 of Ewing, Kentucky passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg, Kentucky after an extended illness.

She was born June 20, 1956, in Ewing, Kentucky to the late Robert Edward Carpenter and Opal Hunt Carpenter.

Beverly was a retired seamstress having worked at January and Wood Company in Maysville, Kentucky. She loved her family and enjoyed watching game shows, reading, QVC, bingo, cooking and spoiling her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Robin Mitchell, niece, Heather Love Carpenter, nephew Timbo Mitchell, grandparents, Avery and Elizabeth Hunt and Doc and Lucille Carpenter.

Survivors include her husband, Miller Smith. two daughters, Spring (Heather) Carpenter and Nikki Carpenter all of Ewing. One stepdaughter, Brandi Smith. Six grandchildren, Tabby Watkins, Dustin Watkins, Kirsten Herrington, Gideon Rider, Isaiah Smith and Jayleigh Smithson. Two sisters, Kim Baker and Libby Lane. Four brothers, Avery Carpenter, Robbie Carpenter, Timmy Carpenter and Steavie Carpenter. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, February 26, 2022, in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville, Kentucky with Pastor Greg Grimes officiating.

Burial will be private.

Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is after 12 noon Saturday.

Serving as pall bearers will be Robbie Carpenter, Avery Carpenter, Timmy Carpenter, Steavie Carpenter, Gus Herrington, Brad Herrington, Jr. Herrington, Zack Herrington, Andrew Herrington and Terry Herrington.
