Betty Hensley

Betty Diann Tumey Hensley, 67 of London, Kentucky formerly of Ewing, Kentucky passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at her home in London. She was born October 13, 1954 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late James L. "Chink" and Letha Hinton Tumey.

She was of the Church of God faith and was retired from the Perry County School System where she worked as a bus driver. She enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, visiting Goodwill and making memorial day flowers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Patsy Helton, Peggy Burke and Marla Feeney.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Wayne Hensley, two daughters, Kimberly Ann Thompson and her husband Brian of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, and Rebecca Joyce Gilbert and her husband Paul of Valdosta, Georgia. One brother-in-law, Donald Feeney of Ewing, Kentucky. Three grandchildren, Kelly Thompson and her fiance, Matt Butler of Richmond, Kentucky, Cameron Gilbert of Moody Air Force Base, Valdosta, Georgia and Cody Gilbert of Valdosta, Georgia. Also, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, November 21, 2021 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville, Kentucky with Rev. Chad Hensley and Rev. J. D. Hensley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Mt. Tabor.

Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is after 12 Noon Sunday.

Serving as pall bearers will be Lawrence Helton, Donald Feeney, Jr., Waylon Caudill, Jeff Purcell, Carson McCall, Spencer McCall, Wayne Dugan and Travis Hickerson. Honorary pall bearers will be Don Feeney and Jeremy McCall.
