Horace "Bill" Horton

Mr. Horace William (Bill) Horton, 72, of Ewing passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at U. K. Medical Center.
He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on December 21, 1943, a son of the late Horace and Lorene Johnson Horton.
Bill was a captain in the United States Air Force and retired from the Department of the Air Force in 2005.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Nat and Molly Bailey, his sister, Shirley Horton Brewer, two brothers-in-law, Mack Brewer and Gerald Mitchell, one sister-in-law, Deloris Bailey, niece, Jan Mitchell and nephew, Douglas Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Janice Bailey Horton, two brothers-in-law, S. W. (Buster) Bailey and David (Bibby) Green, two sisters-in-law, Linda Green and Martha Mitchell, fifteen very special nieces and nephews, thirty-one great nieces and nephews and eleven great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 14, 2016 at Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Rich Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation is after 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
